Contact Us

Questions about a Hillsborough County booking, custody status, court case, or official record must go to the agency that owns that information. The contacts below route each request to HCSO, the county jail, the Clerk, Florida corrections, or a federal locator. This private site cannot retrieve an agency file or confirm a person’s release.

This is not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, pull an official record, change a record, or relay a message to anyone in custody.

Choose the Responsible Office

For an HCSO booking record, photograph, release record, or sheriff-created document, contact the Records Section at the Freddie Solomon Annex, 1900 East 9th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605. The public-records custodian is available at (813) 247-0960 and rec_request@hcso.tampa.fl.us. Requests may also be filed and tracked through the HCSO GovQA center. Large or research-intensive requests may require an estimate or deposit, and HCSO posts no single guaranteed turnaround for every booking record or photo.

For current county-jail questions, call (813) 247-8300. Orient Road Jail is at 1201 N. Orient Road, Tampa, FL 33619. Falkenburg Road Jail is at 520 N. Falkenburg Road, Tampa, FL 33619. HCSO’s Operations Center is at 2008 E. 8th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605, with main number (813) 247-8000. Use (813) 247-8200 for non-emergency service and 911 for an emergency.

  • For a recent county booking, begin with HCSO Arrest Inquiry and use the jail phone if status remains unclear.
  • For court dates, documents, or final disposition, use the Hillsborough County Clerk’s HOVER system.
  • For a Tampa, Plant City, or Temple Terrace police narrative, request the report from that city’s police records unit.
  • For Florida state prison or state supervision, use the Florida Department of Corrections offender search.
  • For release or transfer notices, use Florida VINELink or call 1-877-846-3435.
  • For federal prison or immigration detention, use the appropriate BOP or ICE locator.
