Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s policy governs its receipt and handling of the query.
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. A message is not shared outside the organization unless a valid legal requirement calls for disclosure.
Automatic Technical Information
Routine web systems may record technical details when a page loads. Those details can include:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring page or site, when available
- Date and time stamps
Cookies help measure how visitors use the site. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, though some functions may then behave differently.
How Information Is Used
Collected information may be used to:
- Operate the site and maintain reasonable speed
- Send a search request to the selected partner service
- Understand which pages visitors find useful
- Find, diagnose, and repair technical faults
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests
External Sites and Advertising
Links may lead to HCSO Arrest Inquiry, Hillsborough Clerk HOVER, Florida Department of Corrections, VINELink, federal locators, other government portals, and independent search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination’s own privacy terms control its collection and use of information.
Advertising providers may measure activity across sites to select ads. That processing takes place through their systems and is governed by their notices, not this one.
When Data May Be Shared
We do not sell personal information. Relevant information may be received by:
- Search partners that process a submitted query
- Analytics providers that measure site activity
- Advertising networks serving or measuring ads
- Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Reasonable Security Measures
Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information within our control. No internet-connected service is completely secure, however, and we cannot promise that a breach, interception, or unauthorized access will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contact Us page to request deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law, a person may ask for a copy of personal information held by us, request correction of inaccurate information, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. Florida public records held by HCSO or another government office are controlled by that office and Florida Statutes Chapter 119, not by this site.
Changes to This Notice
This notice may be revised as technology, partners, or practices change. A new version becomes effective when it is posted here with its updated effective date.
